Photos are for reference only. If you’d like images of the exact unit you’ll receive, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll provide them.

The CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 is the player most UK clubs still run, and this is a serviced one. Every NXS2 we sell is deep cleaned inside and out, bench-tested in our Battersea workshop and graded before it is listed. The price shown is for the grade you select above.

What we check before it goes on sale

Jog wheel feel and tension, every button and the hot cue bank, the touchscreen, the USB, SD and Pro DJ Link ports, and the audio outputs. A deck that does not pass is repaired before it is graded, not listed and hoped for.

What’s included

The player, its original power cable and RCA audio cables. Warranty included: 6 months on Premium grade, 3 months on other grades. Fast, tracked UK delivery, or collect from Battersea, SW11 and try it first.

Nexus 2 or Nexus, or a CDJ 3000?

The CDJ 2000 Nexus has beat sync and Link but a basic screen and 3 hot cues. The Nexus 2 adds the 7in colour touchscreen, QWERTY search, 8 hot cues, FLAC playback and a 96kHz/24-bit sound card, and it is the deck you will find in most booths. The CDJ 3000 drops the CD slot, adds a 9in screen and a bigger processor, and costs a good deal more a deck. If you are learning for club gigs, the Nexus 2 is the sensible place to be. Our NXS2 vs CDJ 3000 guide goes into the detail.

About the CDJ 2000 Nexus 2

The Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 is the industry standard among professional media players. Installed in clubs and festival stages worldwide, it is built for long nights and hard use. The 7in touchscreen gives you waveform zoom, track information and QWERTY search, so finding and prepping the next track is quick. Pro DJ Link connects up to four players over LAN to share one USB.

This single Nexus 2 plays from USB, SD, CD and over HID with DJ software, handling MP3, WAV, AIFF and FLAC, and it integrates tightly with rekordbox. The large jog, 8 hot cues, quantised looping and Slip Mode give you full control, whether you are in a club, a studio or at home.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a used CDJ 2000 Nexus 2?
The price above is our current price for the grade selected. Grades are cosmetic only; every unit is serviced and bench-tested before it is listed, whatever the grade. For how prices have moved, read our CDJ 2000 price guide.

What is the difference between the CDJ 2000 Nexus and the Nexus 2?
The Nexus 2 has the colour touchscreen, 8 hot cues instead of 3, FLAC support and the better sound card. Both link over Pro DJ Link and read the same rekordbox USB, so a Nexus at home prepares you for an NXS2 in the booth, and the two can be mixed as a pair.

Is a used CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 still worth buying?
Yes. It remains the standard deck in most UK clubs and festivals, so learning on one means no surprises when you play out. Pioneer stopped making it, which is why a serviced used unit is the sensible way to own one.

Can I buy two as a matched pair?
Yes. Our CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 pair listing is two units of the same grade, and both carry the same warranty.

Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. Collect from Battersea, SW11, plug in a USB and try the deck in person before you commit.

Can I part-exchange my current players?
Yes. Tell us what you have on our part exchange page and we will knock the value off this deck, or sell it to us outright.
