We are an online shop with a

Turntable Trader is first and foremost an online shop — we ship the majority of our equipment directly to customers across the UK. But we also understand how important it is for DJs to properly test their gear before committing. That's why we have a private studio where customers are welcome to come and try things out in person.

Do you have a shop I can walk into?
Turntable Trader is primarily an e-commerce business — we ship the majority of our equipment directly to customers across the UK. That said, we know how important it is for DJs to test gear before buying, so we do have a private studio where you're welcome to come and try things out in person. All studio visits are by appointment only, arranged via WhatsApp. We're not a walk-in shop, so please don't turn up without a confirmed appointment.
Can I come and collect my equipment in person?
Yes, absolutely — and collecting in person is a great option. You can test the equipment thoroughly in our studio before you take it away, so you leave with complete confidence. All visits must be arranged in advance via WhatsApp. Please do not turn up without a confirmed appointment.
How do I book an appointment?
Just send us a message on WhatsApp. Let us know what you're interested in — buying, selling, part exchange, or just coming to have a look — and we'll confirm a time that works for you. We aim to respond quickly and can usually get appointments booked within 24 hours.
What do your condition grades mean?
We use four grades — Premium, Excellent, Good, and Fair — to describe the cosmetic condition of each unit. Every grade still means the equipment is fully tested and working reliably. You can read a full breakdown of exactly what each grade means on our Condition Grading Guide page.
Do you offer returns?
Yes. If your item arrives and isn't as described, get in touch with us straight away via WhatsApp and we'll make it right. We take our grading seriously and stand behind every item we sell.
Is the equipment under warranty?
All equipment is sold as used and is not covered by a manufacturer warranty unless stated in the listing. However, every unit is fully tested by our team before sale — if something isn't working correctly, we'll always sort it out. Message us on WhatsApp if you have any concerns after your purchase.
When can I expect to receive my equipment?
We typically dispatch within 24 hours of your order. UK delivery takes 1–3 working days, and you'll receive full tracking details as soon as your order has been dispatched.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Currently we ship within the UK only. If you're based outside the UK and interested in a specific item, feel free to message us on WhatsApp — we're happy to discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
How do I sell my equipment to you?
Simple — send us a WhatsApp message with a few photos and a brief description of what you've got. We'll come back to you with a fast, no-obligation quote. If you're happy with the offer, we can arrange collection or you can drop it off at our studio by appointment.
How much can you offer me for part exchange?
Part exchange pricing depends on four things: the cosmetic condition of the unit, whether all functions are working correctly, what accessories are included (original box, case, cables etc.), and how you're getting the item to us — in person or shipped. Send us photos on WhatsApp and we'll get back to you with a fair quote quickly.
