The Rane Performer is a flagship 4-channel motorized DJ controller that combines Rane’s legendary build quality with modern digital performance tools, making it one of the most advanced controllers available for Serato DJ Pro. The Rane Performer features two 7-inch high-torque aluminum platters topped with magnetic acrylic discs that replicate the feel of real vinyl, complete with customizable torque settings and an innovative central 3.5-inch LCD display showing waveforms, BPM, deck info, artwork, and more. At the core of the mixer section are Rane’s PRECISION FEEL faders, based on the MAG FOUR design, offering ultra-smooth, durable operation with adjustable tension and contour for both channel faders and the crossfader. The Rane Performer is deeply integrated with Serato, unlocking Serato DJ Pro out of the box and offering dedicated Stems performance controls that allow instant vocal or instrumental isolation, stem level adjustments, and Stem Split functions for creative live remixing. Performance features include 16 RGB backlit pads with mini OLED screens above each pad bank, giving instant feedback for hot cues, samples, rolls, slicer, and other modes. The FX section is equipped with two sturdy battle-style paddles, over 25 assignable Serato effects, plus 4 knob-controlled internal channel FX including Filter, Noise, Echo, and Flanger for immediate hands-on control. Connectivity is equally professional, with dual USB ports for seamless handovers, balanced XLR and RCA master outputs, booth outputs, two microphone inputs with EQ and echo, switchable line/phono inputs for turntables or CDJs, and high-quality headphone monitoring.
