Used Pioneer XDJ RX2 prices in 2026: what to pay and what yours is worth

The XDJ RX2 is the all-in-one we buy and sell most, and its price has settled into a narrow band that makes it easy to judge a deal. This guide uses our own numbers: what RX2s actually sold for through the workshop over the last six months and what our sell calculator offers for one today. Figures were checked on 17 September 2026. The live listing and calculator take precedence on the day.

Used XDJ RX2 price in 2026: the short answer

• Buying from us: £1,000 Fair, £1,100 Good, £1,150 Excellent, £1,200 Premium. The typical sale over the last six months was about £1,130.
• Selling one: the calculator currently offers £695 Fair, £750 Good, £840 Excellent and £900 Premium.
• Volume: we sold around 55 and bought around 50 in that period, so these are well-trodden numbers.

Why the RX2 holds its price

The RX2 was replaced by the XDJ RX3 in 2021, but it did not lose the thing people buy it for: two full decks, a mixer and a 7in touchscreen in one case that plays rekordbox USBs with no laptop. The RX3 has a bigger screen and newer software. It also costs a few hundred pounds more used, which is exactly why the RX2 stays in demand with bar DJs, mobile DJs and anyone practising at home for club gigs. Over the last six months almost every RX2 we sold landed between £1,000 and £1,200.

Buying a used XDJ RX2 by grade

Grades are cosmetic. Every RX2 is serviced and bench-tested in our Battersea workshop before listing: both jogs, every pad and fader, the screen, the USB slots and the sound card through both outputs.

• Premium (£1,200): close to new, often boxed.
• Excellent (£1,150): light marks, the grade most of our RX2 stock sits in.
• Good (£1,100) and Fair (£1,000): visible wear from gigging. Same unit underneath, up to £200 cheaper.

Warranty is 6 months on Premium and 3 months on the other grades, with free return postage on a claim.

What your XDJ RX2 is worth if you are selling

The sell calculator bases its offer on what we actually paid for RX2s in the last 180 days. Today that is £900 for a Premium unit, £840 Excellent, £750 Good and £695 Fair, collected free in the UK and paid the same day the unit arrives and passes the bench. Trading up to an RX3 or XZ? What moves the price

• Faders and pads. A crossfader that cuts out or pads that need a hard press are the most common RX2 faults and knock a private sale down hard. Both are routine repairs for us and are sorted before a unit is graded.
• Screen. The 7in touchscreen is the costly part. Scratches are cosmetic and affect the grade, dead zones are a repair.
• USB slots. Worn USB ports that need a wiggle are cheap to fix but a classic reason marketplace units go cheap. Ours are tested with a stick in each.
• Decksaver and box. Nice to have, small effect on price.

RX2 or RX3?

The RX3 is the better machine: 10.1in screen, newer effects, current software. Used, it costs roughly £300 to £400 more than an RX2 of the same grade. If your gigs are on your own gear and you play from USB, the RX2 is the value pick and will not hold you back.
