Used AlphaTheta CDJ 3000X prices in 2026: what it costs and what yours is worth

The CDJ 3000X is the newest flagship player in the booth, released under the AlphaTheta name that Pioneer DJ now trades as, and the obvious question is how much more it costs than a standard CDJ 3000. This guide sets out what a used one costs with our own numbers: what CDJ 3000Xs actually sold for through our workshop in the last six months, and what our sell calculator is offering for them today. Figures were checked on 22 September 2026. The live listing and the calculator take precedence on the day.

Used CDJ 3000X price in 2026: the short answer

• Buying from us: £1,900 Fair, £2,000 Good, £2,050 Excellent, £2,250 Premium. The typical sale over the last six months was about £2,100, across 10 sales.
• Pairs: £3,800 to £4,300 depending on grade.
• Selling one: the calculator currently offers £1,610 Fair, £1,660 Good, £1,710 Excellent and £1,900 Premium.
• Against a standard CDJ 3000: a used 3000 typically sold for about £1,750 over the same period, so the X costs roughly £350 more a deck.

Why the used price sits where it does

The 3000X is still a current model, so its second hand price is set by what a new one costs rather than by scarcity. It is also a young deck on the used market: we have bought 14 in the last 180 days and sold 10, at a median of about £2,100 and within a narrow band of roughly £1,870 to £2,150. That narrow band is typical of a player that is still in production. Nobody pays well over the odds for a used one, and there is little reason for a working one to go cheap.

What the X adds over a CDJ 3000

The layout is the one every club DJ knows, so the question is whether the additions are worth around £350 a deck to you. The headline changes are a larger 10.1in touchscreen, built-in Wi-Fi for streaming and cloud libraries through rekordbox, and a reworked jog wheel with a wider tension range. If you play from USB sticks in clubs that run standard 3000s, those features change little about your night. Buying a used CDJ 3000X by grade

Grades at Turntable Trader are cosmetic only. Every player is deep cleaned, serviced and bench-tested in our Battersea workshop before it is listed, whatever the grade, so the choice is about how it looks, not how it works.

• Premium (£2,250): close to new, the pick for a studio or a rig you show clients.
• Excellent (£2,050): light marks from normal use.
• Good (£2,000) and Fair (£1,900): visible wear. Plays identically and saves you up to £350 a deck against Premium.

All grades carry our warranty, 6 months on Premium and 3 months on the rest.

What your CDJ 3000X is worth if you are selling

What moves the price

• Screen condition. The 10.1in touchscreen is the most expensive part of the deck. Scratches, pressure marks or dead pixels drop a private sale price sharply, and ours are checked before grading.
• Jog feel. The jog tension range is wider than on the 3000, and a jog that no longer holds its setting is a service job. We test it on every unit.
• Ports and network. A deck that will not read a stick or join Link is worth far less until it is repaired, and a repair is what it should get.
• Pairs. Most buyers want a matched pair of the same grade, which is why we list pairs as well as singles.

What about the white CDJ 3000 W?

The four white CDJ 3000 Ws we have sold in the last twelve months all went for more than a typical black 3000, but four sales is too few to call a typical price honestly. We list them as pairs from £3,900 Fair to £4,200 Premium on the CDJ 3000 W pair page.
