About the sampler
The Pioneer DJ DJS-1000 is a powerful, standalone DJ sampler and sequencer designed for dynamic performances. It features 16 large, multicolour performance pads that are velocity-sensitive, allowing you to trigger sounds with precision and expressiveness. The 16-step sequencer lets you create patterns in real-time, giving you full control over your music as you perform.
The unit comes with a 7-inch full-colour touch display, which offers waveform views and real-time feedback for seamless navigation. Live sampling is made easy, with instant playback during your set, so you can capture sounds on the fly and incorporate them into your performance.
For storage, the DJS-1000 offers both internal memory and USB ports, making it simple to load and save samples as needed. Built-in effects provide a wide range of creative possibilities, with assignable parameters that allow you to shape your sound. The device also features various connectivity options, including a USB A port for storage, a USB B port for computer connection, MIDI In/Out/Thru for synchronization with other devices, and Line In for sampling external sources. There’s also a Line Out for master audio output.
The Pro DJ Link support enables seamless integration with other Pioneer gear like CDJs and DJM mixers, ensuring smooth synchronization across your setup. The tempo control system features auto BPM detection, along with manual adjustments for further precision.
Built with a solid metal chassis and rubber feet for stability, the DJS-1000 is robust enough to withstand the demands of any DJ environment. The unit’s compact size (320 × 110.1 × 421.6 mm) and lightweight design (approx. 5.4 kg) make it easy to transport, while the included AC power adapter ensures you have the power needed to perform at your best.
