About the mixer
The DJM-800 is a legendary 4-channel mixer that became the industry standard in clubs around the world during the late 2000s and early 2010s. Known for its durability, intuitive layout, and powerful onboard FX, it helped define the sound and workflow of a generation of DJs. Each of the four channels supports line, phono, and digital inputs, making it flexible for vinyl, CDJs, or digital sources. The mixer includes a high-quality 24-bit/96kHz digital converter that ensures crystal-clear audio throughout.
One of the standout features of the DJM-800 is its built-in effects section, which includes crowd favorites like echo, delay, filter, flange, phaser, and roll – all of which can be rhythmically synced to the BPM. The color FX knob on each channel allows for real-time manipulation of sound textures, giving DJs expressive creative control. It also features a smooth, reliable crossfader and 3-band EQs with full kill on every channel.
While it may not have USB connectivity or modern networking features, the DJM-800 is still prized for its analog warmth, hands-on controls, and club-ready sound. It's a reliable workhorse that continues to be used in professional setups and is ideal for DJs who appreciate a tactile, no-nonsense mixing experience.
