About the turntable
The Reloop RP 8000 MK2 is a hybrid direct-drive turntable built for modern DJ workflows, offering the feel of a classic analog turntable combined with powerful MIDI control features. It runs at 33⅓, 45, and 78 RPM with adjustable starting torque (2.8–4.5 kg/cm), and adjustable brake time (0.2–6 sec), all driven by a high-torque, quartz-locked motor that delivers precise, stable playback. The heavy die-cast aluminum platter is vibration-damped, while the newly designed height-adjustable S-shaped tone arm provides improved tracking accuracy. A standout feature is the 8 large RGB performance pads, offering seven built-in modes (including Cue, Loop Roll, Slicer, Pitch Play) plus two custom slots, enabling functions like hot cues, live looping, and pitch shift.
In Platter Play, the RP 8000 MK2 pads can even control pitch and musical scales—22 presets plus nine user-defined—turning the turntable into a creative instrument. Built-in MIDI controls (pads, multi-encoder, transport, pitch display with BPM/key) work natively with Serato DJ Pro, Traktor, and other MIDI-compatible software. The LCD shows pitch, BPM, scale, key, deck ID, and elapsed time. With dual outputs (dedicated phono and line), smart USB daisy-chaining for up to four units, reverse playback, and replaceable LED needle light, it fits seamlessly into both vinyl and DVS setups. Constructed with a reinforced chassis, vibration-isolating feet, and professional connectivity—including detachable cables and optional ground terminal—the RP 8000 MK2 blends classic build quality with cutting-edge performance features ideal for scratch DJs and creative performers alike.
