As the largest model in the Rokit G3 lineup, it delivers impressive low-end performance and ample headroom, making it suitable for bass-heavy genres like hip-hop, EDM, and trap.
At the heart of the Rokit 8 G3 is a bi-amped Class A/B amplifier delivering a total of 100 watts—75W to the 8" Aramid glass composite woofer and 25W to the 1" soft-dome tweeter. This setup allows for a peak SPL of 109 dB, providing plenty of volume without distortion. The frequency response ranges from 35Hz to 35kHz, offering extended highs and deep lows that are especially useful for detailed monitoring and mix referencing .
The Rokit 8 features a front-firing bass port, which minimizes boundary coupling and allows for more flexible placement in smaller rooms or near walls. The waveguide design enhances stereo imaging and creates a wider sweet spot, ensuring consistent sound across the listening area. Additionally, the curved front baffle reduces diffraction, resulting in a cleaner and more accurate soundstage .
For room tuning, the Rokit 8 G3 includes high-frequency and low-frequency adjustment switches, each offering -2dB, -1dB, 0, and +1dB settings. The enclosure is constructed from MDF with a black vinyl wrap, and it includes a factory-installed foam pad on the base to decouple the monitor from the surface, reducing unwanted vibrations.
