About the controller
The Pioneer DDJ-GRV6 is a 4-channel performance DJ controller designed for scratch-style DJs who use Serato DJ Pro. It combines Pioneer’s familiar layout with features tailored for battle and creative routines.
It includes large, low-latency jog wheels with adjustable tension, so scratching and beat juggling feel responsive and tight. The Magvel crossfader is built for performance — durable, smooth, and adjustable for different scratch styles. You’ll find eight performance pads per deck for hot cues, rolls, slicer, sampler, and pad FX. The controller also includes FX paddles and a dedicated FX section for fast access to Serato’s effects. Dual USB ports allow two DJs to hook up seamlessly in back-to-back sessions.
On the mixer side, the DDJ-GRV6 offers full 3-band EQs on all channels, trim (gain) controls, and selectable fader curves on both channel faders and the crossfader. There are also switchable line/CD and phono inputs, making it usable with CDJs or turntables in hybrid setups. It supports internal soundcard operation, so you don’t need an external interface, and outputs include balanced master, booth, and headphone cueing.
Build-wise, the GRV6 is solid, with a metallic top plate and durable controls designed to withstand gig use. For DJs who want a performance controller with scratch and creative tools in a compact form, the DDJ-GRV6 balances flexibility, performance, and affordability.
