About the controller

The Pioneer DDJ REV5 is a powerful 2-channel scratch-style DJ controller built to marry the open-format performance layout with advanced digital features. It includes large, CDJ-style jog wheels and a premium MAGVEL Fader for precise, responsive scratching and mixing. The layout mimics a traditional turntable/mixer setup, with long tempo faders placed above the decks and FX paddles and performance pads centralized for quick access during transitions and expressive routines.

The DDJ REV5 is fully compatible with both Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, with no extra licenses required. Innovative features include Stems control for isolating vocals, bass, drums, or melody to perform live mashups; Auto BPM Transition, which seamlessly shifts tempo across tracks over a set number of bars; and Piano Playmode, transforming the performance pads into a piano-like layout for musical cue triggering. Hardware includes two USB-C ports for smooth DJ changeovers, sturdy XLR and RCA master outputs, booth output, dual mic inputs with EQ, and headphone monitoring options for flexibility in various setups.

Despite the used DDJ REV5 premium feel and performance capabilities, it does not support external decks or DVS input—focusing its strength on pure controller functionality.
