Which generation?

G2: the earlier model, composite woofer, soft dome tweeter and simple volume and EQ trims on the back. A solid budget monitor that still does the job.
G3: the last and best Rokit 6, with glass-aramid composite drivers, Class A/B bi-amped power and a cleaner, more balanced tune than the G2.

About the speaker

The KRK Rokit 6 sits in a useful middle ground that KRK no longer makes: more low end weight than a Rokit 5, without the size of a Rokit 8. That makes used units genuinely sought after for medium sized rooms and DJ setups where an 8 inch monitor is overkill.

The sound is classic Rokit: a punchy, slightly generous low end that flatters bass-led music, with enough clarity through the mids to practise, produce and mix on. The front-firing port helps when the speakers have to sit close to a wall, which is the reality of most home setups.

Because we sell them as singles, you can build a pair one speaker at a time, add a booth monitor, or replace one half of a pair that has died. Match the generation and condition if you want a consistent stereo image.
