About the speaker

The Adam Audio A7X is one of the most respected nearfield monitors ever made. Built in Berlin and a fixture in professional studios for over a decade, it earned its reputation on one thing: you can trust what it tells you. Mixes made on an A7X translate, which is why so many rooms ran them for years and why used ones are still in demand after the model was discontinued.

The X-ART folded ribbon tweeter is the star. Highs come through detailed and airy without getting harsh, so you can work on it all day without your ears giving up. Underneath, the 7 inch carbon and Rohacell woofer is fast and controlled, with enough low end to make real decisions on bass without a subwoofer. Each driver gets its own amplifier, and the front panel power and volume controls are a small touch you end up appreciating every single day.

Because we sell them as singles, you can build a pair one speaker at a time, add one as a centre or booth monitor, or replace one half of a pair that has died. Match the condition grade if you want a consistent stereo image.
